Who can collect the data

This Data Protection Policy concerns your access and use of EKSTRAKLASA.TV and all our applications, products, services and contents offered within or in connection with our servicewww.ekstraklasa.tv(“Services”).

 

Whenever the following terms are used in this Data Protection Policy: “us”, “we”, “our”, “Ekstraklasa Live Park” they shall mean Ekstraklasa Live Park Sp. z o.o. with its registered office in Warsaw, Poland.

 

As you obtain access to EKTRAKLASA.TV or use the Services we inform that your personal data will be processed by Ekstraklasa Live Park Sp. z o.o. with its registered office in Warsaw (Samogłoska Str. No. 5, 01-980 Warsaw, Poland) as the Controller of personal data for the purposes and within the scope provided for in this Data Protection Policy. Ekstraklasa Live Park can be contacted at the email address:kontakt@livepark.plor in writing at the address indicated above.

 

Ekstraklasa Live Park has appointed a Personal Data Protection Officer who can be contacted on any matter concerning the processing of personal data. 

The Data Protection Officer can be contacted at email addresskontakt@livepark.plor in writing to the registered office address of Ekstraklasa Live Park.

 

What information do we collect?

First of all, we collect the information that you submit to us in connection with the use of our Services, on our websites and in our apps.  This includes information like:

  • personal information (name, photo, etc.) ;
  • payment information (we never actually collect this, just provide it to our trusted payment affiliates);
  • e-mail address;
  • location.

We may also collect information automatically from your use of our services. We do this for Service provision by Ekstraklasa Live Park and our business and product development purposes. This information can also help us locate a problem if you need our support. This includes information like:

    • device information;
    • log information;
    • IP address;
    • location;
    • application information;
  • information collected through the cookies used on www.ekstraklasa.tv and tools that support similar technologies (for more information on data processing in this regard, see “Use of cookies and similar technologies”).

 

We also obtain information, including personal data, from other sources which is protected according to practices described in this Data Protection Policy and additional restrictions imposed by the source of the data, such as legal restrictions and data processing policies of those entities. 

We may obtain your personal information from: 

  • service providers acting on our behalf that help us determine a location based on your IP address in order to customize our service and for other uses described in this Data Protection Policy;
  •  our partners that make our service available on their device (e.g. televisions with Smart TV feature) or with which we offer co-branded services (e.g. PKO BP Ekstraklasa) or engage in joint marketing activities (in case of directing marketing information to you regarding our partners on the basis of your consent);
  • payment service providers who provide us with updated payment method information related to your payment for our Services.

 

 

 

 

Why do we collect and for what purposes do we process this information?

If you use the applications and websites of www.ekstraklasa.org (also referred to as “Ekstraklasa”) and www.ekstraklasa.tv (also referred to as “Ekstraklasa TV”), and use the same login data to log in to those websites and applications, the data controllers of this personal data are:

  1. Ekstraklasa S.A. - in case you usewww.ekstraklasa.org, and
  2. Ekstraklasa Live Park sp. z o.o. – in case you use www. ekstraklasa.tv.  

Your personal data will be processed to enable you to log in to the above applications and websites based on your shared login information.

 

Logging in to the aforementioned applications and websites based on the same login credentials requires the mutual transfer of personal user data, including email address, password history, username, and preferred language, between Ekstraklasa S.A. and Ekstraklasa Live Park sp. z o.o. 

This means that Ekstraklasa S.A. and Ekstraklasa Live Park Sp. z o.o. are joint controllers of this user personal data and process it under the following arrangements:

  1. Enabling you to log in to Ekstraklasa and Ekstraklasa TV websites and applications, provided by Ekstraklasa S.A. and Ekstraklasa Live Park Sp. z o.o., respectively, involves the processing of your personal data by these entities.
  2. If the user has registered on the websites and/or applications of both entities listed in point I above, using the same login data (i.e. the same e-mail address, username, preferred language and password), this means that Ekstraklasa S.A. and Ekstraklasa Live Park Sp. z o.o. jointly control the user's personal data in accordance with Article 26(1) of the GDPR.
  3. In order to comply with the obligations that Ekstraklasa S.A. and Ekstraklasa Live Park Sp. z o.o. have in relation to joint controllership, these entities have entered into a joint controllership agreement, under which they have established responsibilities for ensuring compliance with the provisions of the GDPR with respect to the joint management of users' personal data.
  4. As part of the joint arrangements, Ekstraklasa S.A. and Ekstraklasa Live Park Sp. z o.o. agreed that joint controllership activities include the collection of personal data of the users for the purpose of enabling access to Ekstraklasa and Ekstraklasa TV’s mobile applications and/or websites, including the exchange of data between these applications and websites for the purpose of user authentication based on shared login data. The exchange of this data occurs when a user with an account in one of the aforementioned applications/websites provides the same login data when registering or logging in to the other application/website, as well as each time the user changes the password.  
  5. User’s data will be transferred for the period during which the user has accounts on both websites and/or applications.
  6. The collection and exchange of personal data between Ekstraklasa S.A. and Ekstraklasa Live Park Sp. z o.o. includes the following categories of personal user data: e-mail address, password history, username and preferred language.
  7. The legal basis for the processing of user's personal data by the joint controllers is their legitimate interest in enabling access to that user's Ekstraklasa and Ekstraklasa TV’s accounts based on shared login data.
  8. To the extent of the joint controllership of user’s personal data, the user has the right to access to personal data, their rectification, erasure and restriction of processing.  
  9. The user also has the right to object to the processing of personal data - on grounds relating to his or her particular situation - where his or her personal data are processed on the basis of a legitimate interest of the joint controllers.  
  10. If the user considers that the joint controllers are in breach of the law in processing personal data, the user has the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority - the President of the Office for Personal Data Protection.
  11. Pursuant to Article 26(1) of the GDPR, the joint controllers designate a point of contact through which the user may contact them on any matter concerning the processing of personal data covered by the joint controllership. The point of contact is Ekstraklasa Live Park Sp. z o.o., and this point of contact can be contacted atkontakt@livepark.pl. Notwithstanding the above, the user may assert his or her rights, pursuant to Article 26(3) of the GDPR, against any of the joint controllers whose services are used by the user.

We process your personal data as an independent controller, primarily for the following purposes:

  • to enable the registration and handling of the account, the provision of the Services, including the handling of payments and the processing of complaints - the legal basis for the processing is the necessity for the conclusion and performance of the contract (Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR);
  1. analytical and statistical purposes, including improving the quality of the Services provided - the legal basis for the processing is the legitimate interest of Ekstraklasa Live Park (Art. 6(1)(f) of the GDPR) in conducting the necessary analyses and statistics, including monitoring users’ activity and developing ways to deliver the Services to improve user satisfaction and enhance the quality of the Services; 
  2. to improve the used solutions and technologies - the legal basis for the processing is the legitimate interest of Ekstraklasa Live Park (Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR) to develop technologies and optimise the Services provided;
  3. to comply with legal obligations - the legal basis for the processing are the provisions of the applicable law (Article 6(1)(c) of the GDPR), in particular tax and accounting law, imposing these obligations on us;
  4. to prevent abuse in connection with the use of the Services and to securely handle payments made by users in connection with the purchase of subscriptions or one-off tickets - the legal basis for the processing is the legitimate interest of Ekstraklasa Live Park (Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR) consisting in detecting and preventing suspicious activities within the Services we provide, as well as ensuring an adequate level of security for our Services and users;
  5. display of marketing content available on the website and the application, concerning Ekstraklasa Live Park as well as Ekstraklasa Live Park's business partners - the legal basis for the processing is the legitimate interest of Ekstraklasa Live Park (Article 6(1)(f) RODO) consisting of creating an integrated group of users using the Ekstraklasa Live Park Services and increasing the attractiveness of content available through the Services and displaying content that may be of interest to these users;
  6. pursuing and defending against claims - the legal basis for the processing is the legitimate interest of Ekstraklasa Live Park (Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR) to defend our business interests.

 

 

 

In addition, if you have granted us the relevant consents, Ekstraklasa Live Park processes your personal data for marketing purposes, consisting of:

  1. sending to you marketing content relating to Ekstraklasa Live Park via email - the legal basis for the processing is the legitimate interest of Ekstraklasa Live Park (Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR) to promote its own services and goods in connection with your consent to our marketing;
  2. sending marketing content to you concerning Ekstraklasa S.A., Ekstraklasa competition clubs and Ekstraklasa S.A.’s business partnershttps://www.ekstraklasa.org/partnerzy, Ekstraklasa Live Park business partners,https://www.ekstraklasa.org/partnerzy the Polish Football Association and entities cooperating with them - the legal basis for processing is the legitimate interest of Ekstraklasa Live Park (Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR) consisting in promoting services and goods of third parties in connection with your consent to such marketing;
  3. sharing your e-mail address with Ekstraklasa S.A., Ekstraklasa competition clubshttps://www.ekstraklasa.org/klubyand Ekstraklasa S.A.’s business partnershttps://www.ekstraklasa.org/partnerzy, Ekstraklasa Live Park business partnershttps://www.ekstraklasa.org/partnerzy, the Polish Football Association and entities cooperating with them, for the purpose of e-mail marketing by these entities - the legal basis for processing is your consent to share your personal data (Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR) with those entities.

 

 

 

In connection with the opportunity to purchase a club subscription or one-day pass, please be advised that we also collect the information you provide to us in real time in order to process your payments. However, we never store your payment card information, including credit card information. This information is sent directly to our trusted payment collection affiliate, without retaining a copy in the Ekstraklasa Live Park's resources.

 

 

 

We also provide you with the option of logging into your account with your Facebook account details, your Apple account details or your Google account details. Please note that all information about the processing of personal data by Facebook, as well as by Apple and Google, is available in the privacy policies of these providers.

Ekstraklasa Live Park provides on its website and application links that redirect the user to social media profiles operated by Ekstraklasa S.A.. When using the Services, you can share the content available onwww.ekstraklasa.tvvia the instant-messaging apps available on your devices or via the social media platforms (X, Facebook, Instagram, Youtube) where you hold your accounts. Ekstraklasa Live Park does not process your personal data in connection with your social media accounts and your publication of content via those platforms. Who is the recipient of your personal data?

It is very important to us not to share your personal data with other individuals, companies or any entities. There are however a few instances in which we will do so.

 

Your personal data (including your username) may be visible to other users of the Ekstraklasa Official app. This may happen when you publish a video coming from the Ekstraklasa Official app for other users to watch.

 

 

Ekstraklasa Live Park conveys your payment information, including your payments or credit card information, to trusted affiliates who collect the payments. Ekstraklasa Live Park has signed agreements with international payment collection and billing companies who have vast experience in making the transfers as safe as possible. For your security, Ekstraklasa Live Park never stores this information itself.

 

 

 

We share your login, IP address and other technical personal data allowing our service provider
Stripe Inc. in the case of the website version and to Google and Apple in the case of in-app payments to provide you with the requested Service.

For legal reasons we may at some point be obligated to share your information with individuals, companies or authorities. We may also do this if we in good faith believe that this must be done to prevent or detect any breach of law, fraud or security. For how long will we process your data

We will process and store your data as long as you have a user account, or until you exercise your right to demand discontinuing or restricting the processing of your data, in particular by withdrawing your consent to personal data processing (if your data is processed based on such consent), or raise an effective objection to the processing of your data whichever occurs first.

After the expiry of the aforementioned periods, the data may only be processed if this is necessary for the defense or assertion of claims, and if Ekstraklasa Live Park is obliged to process the data for a period of time resulting from legal (e.g. tax) regulations.

 

 

 

 

What rights do you have? 

You can request access to your personal information and a receive copy of it, as well as  the correction of outdated or . inaccurate personal information we hold about you.

 

 

You can most easily do this, when logged in, by visiting the "Account" section of the website athttps://www.konto.ekstraklasa.org

(account settings), where you have the ability to access and update a wide range of information about your account, including your contact information, your payment information, and various related information about your account (including the change of your consent settings). You must be signed in to access the "Account" section. You may also request that we delete personal information that we hold about you by contacting the Personal Data Protection Officer atkontakt@livepark.pl.

 

 

You may request the erasure of your personal information, the restriction of the scope of processing or the  portability or the provision of information about the processing of your personal information; if we have collected and process your personal information with your consent, then you can withdraw your consent at any time; withdrawing your consent will not affect the lawfulness of any processing we conducted prior to your withdrawal, nor will it affect processing of your personal information conducted in reliance on lawful processing grounds other than consent; you have the right to complain to a data protection authority about our collection and use of your personal information.

 

You also have the right to object to data processing on the basis of the legitimate interest of Ekstraklasa Live Park - for reasons related to your particular situation. You also have the right to object to the processing of your data for marketing purposes if the processing is carried out on the basis of legitimate interest of Ekstraklasa Live Park.

If you consider that Ekstraklasa Live Park processes your personal data in an unlawful manner, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (in Poland: President of the Office for the Protection of Personal Data with its seat at 2 Stawki Street, 00-193 Warsaw).

 

 

 

Instructions for deleting personal data

1. If you register/log in via Facebook, go to the "Settings and privacy" tab in your Facebook account. In this tab, select "settings".

2. Then go to “Apps & Websites|”. Here you'll see the apps and websites that are connected to your Facebook account.

3. Click the "View and edit" button located next to the "Ekstraklasa TV" application icon.

4. Select the “Delete” button

5. Send an e-mail to the Personal Data Protection Inspector at the following e-mail address:kontakt@livepark.plwith the username under which the account was created. Thanks to this, we will delete all personal data that we kept about you.

6. We will contact you to confirm the deletion of your personal data.

 

 

Changes to this Data Protection Policy

The Data Protection Policy is continuously reviewed and updated as necessary.

The current version of the Data Protection Policy is effective as of 31st of January 2025.
